Genesee AI Consulting("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at genesee-ai.com (the "Site"), interact with our advertisements, or contact us, and how we use, share, and protect that information.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us. When you book a consultation, fill out a form, or email us, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything else you choose to share.
- Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and how you use the Site, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies.We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure performance, and deliver advertising. See "Cookies and tracking technologies" below.
- Advertising data. If you arrive at the Site by clicking one of our advertisements, we may receive information about that ad click from the advertising platform.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations;
- provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services;
- send service-related communications;
- measure and analyze how visitors use the Site so we can improve it;
- show, measure, and optimize advertising on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, and other advertising networks;
- build custom and lookalike audiences based on Site visitors;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process.
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors interact with the Site, and deliver and measure advertising. The categories of cookies we use include:
- Strictly necessary cookies required for the Site to function;
- Performance and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example, Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics);
- Advertising cookies set by us or our advertising partners to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance.

4. Advertising and Meta Pixel
We advertise our services on third-party platforms, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). To do this we use the Meta Pixel and similar tools provided by other advertising platforms. These tools collect information about your visit to the Site — including pages viewed, actions taken, and a hashed identifier — and share it with the advertising platform so that:
- we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising,
- the platform can show our ads to people who have visited the Site or who resemble our visitors, and
- the platform can report how many people took an action after seeing our ad.

5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and our business, including hosting (Vercel), scheduling (Calendly), analytics, email, and advertising platforms;
- Advertising partners, including Meta, for the purposes described in "Advertising and Meta Pixel" above;
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety;
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at evan@genesee.info. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what information we have collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
